Obituary of Gary Philip Tryon

Gary Philip Tryon, age 63, passed away July 20, 2017 at Ozark Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Gary was born August 3, 1953 to Phil and Darvene Tryon. On August 5, 2006, he married Lynn Leslie.

Gary moved to the lake with his family in 1965 and helped his parents run Malibu Beach Resort.  Gary was a graduate of Camdenton High School.  He was an avid fisherman and loved to hunt.  His greatest joy was spending time with his family.

Gary is survived by his wife Lynn of the home; his four children, Julie Allee and husband, Shane, of Dowagiac, MI, Scott and wife, Tiffany, of Camdenton, Marie Smith of Camdenton and Philip and wife, Mandi, of Linn Creek; his mother and step-father Darvene and Gordon West; two sisters Sue Rosen and husband Greg, of Camdenton, and Dori Lopez and husband, Ron, of Linn Creek; seven grandchildren, Toby, Gabe, Abby and Lucas Tryon, Michael and Ashley Smith and Amy Miller; as well as a host of other friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father Phil Tryon; paternal grandparents; maternal grandparents; and a granddaughter, Emily Tryon.

He will be forever loved and greatly missed.

Services will be held at 10:00 am Monday, July 24, 2017 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.
