Obituary of Jean Ann Marcy

Jean Ann Marcy, 86, passed away Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Laurie Care Center, in Laurie, Missouri.

She was born November 13, 1930 in Peoria, Illinois to Charles H. and Helen (Chrispel) Fisher. She married Gerald D. Marcy on November 27, 1948 in Peoria, Illinois.  He preceded her in death January 21, 2001 in Peoria.

Also preceding her in death are two brothers, Herman and Edward; and four sisters, Alma, Dorothy, Elsie, and Irene.

Surviving are two sons, Danny (Kay) of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Jodie (Marcie) of Eureka, Illinois; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two step great grandchildren and one great-great grandson; along with several nieces and nephews.

Jean was supervisor at Foster & Gallagher, Inc. retiring January 4, 1991 after 25 years.

We celebrate her life and will treasure the memories she created for her family and friends.

Hedges-Scott Funeral Home will take care of the cremation with burial of her ashes in the Lutheran Cemetery in Peoria, Illinois at a later date.
