Obituary of Michelle Leigh (Messner) Anderson

Michelle Leigh (Messner) Anderson, age 41, of Paxton, Illinois, formerly of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 in Carle Hospital, Urbana, Illinois.

Michelle was born June 14, 1976 in Hutchinson, Minnesota, the daughter of John and Janie (Rodden) Messner.  She grew up in Hutchinson and attended schools there. She was saved and baptized at an early age and later rededicated her life and was baptized at Lebanon Community Baptist Church in Lebanon, Missouri.

Michelle is survived by her parents , John and Janie Messner; her children Elise Anderson and Christopher Carlson; her brother John Messner Jr and his wife Frieda all of Lebanon, Missouri; and her companion Chris  Masters of Paxton, Illinois;  along with other relatives and friends.

Michelle loved riding Harleys with Chris, collecting frogs, movies, and music.  She played the piano and was an avid swimmer, winning several ribbons.  She viewed tattoos as art work. Michelle loved her cat Bella and all other animals.

Funeral services will be held Friday, August 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 -11:00 am prior to services at the funeral home.

Interment will follow at Rodden Cemetery in Brumley, Missouri.
