Obituary of Samantha Rose Holmes

Samantha Rose Holmes, age 21, of Camdenton, Missouri, departed this world on September 16, 2017 at University of Missouri Hospital, Columbia, Missouri.

She was born December 30, 1995 in Osage Beach, Missouri to John and Jennifer Holmes.

Samantha graduated from Camdenton High School with the class of 2014. She completed her associates degree at State Fair Community College in May 2017.

Samantha accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior on December 2, 2012 at the age of sixteen and was baptized on December 23, 2012. She was a member of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Edith, Missouri.

She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Barbara Schroeder, her grandfather, Jim Schroeder, and her aunt, Paula Brewster.

Samantha is survived by her parents, John and Jennifer Holmes, her brother and sister-in-law, Zachariah and Sarah Holmes, her sister, Bradi Brewster, her grandparents, Leon and Rosa Dawson, her loving boyfriend, Dalton Lobosky and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and church family.

Samantha was a certified nursing assistant at Lake Regional Health System and was continuing her education in nursing at State Fair Community College. In all aspects of her life, Samantha showed love and care to those who were near her. Her bright smile brought cheer to many and as an organ donor she continues to touch lives.

Samantha will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure to know and to love her.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 22, 2017 from 5:00-8:00pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.

Services will be held Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 1:00pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.

Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Edith, Missouri.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
