Obituary of Charles Leonard Lashley

Charles Leonard Lashley, age 80, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Charles was the son of Leonard and Wilma (Buehler) Lashley, born April 7, 1937 in Festus, Missouri.

On January 14, 1961 in Crystal City, Missouri, Charles was united in marriage to Valeria Gassier.

 They had shared 56 loving years of marriage together at the time of his death.

Charles was an accountant for Brown Shoe Company in St. Louis, Missouri, before retiring to Lebanon, Missouri and then to the Lake of the Ozarks.   He was a member of Hope Lutheran Chapel in Osage Beach where he served as an elder.  He enjoyed wood carving, and spending his days outdoors playing golf, camping, boating and fishing.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family.

Charles is survived by his wife Valeria of the home; one son, Todd and his wife Ann and their son Joshua of Camdenton, MO, two brothers; David and his wife Sharon of Webster Grove, Missouri and Greg and his wife Gayle of Orlando, Florida.

Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Wilma Lashley.

Services will be held Monday, September 25, 2017 at 3:00pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Interment will be at Hedges-Scott Cemetery in Camdenton.
