Robert Morang

Obituary of Robert V. Morang

Robert “Bob” V. Morang of Pittsfield, Maine, born on January 1, 1931 passed away peacefully on September 24, 2017 at Osage Beach Health Care in Osage Beach, Missouri. Bob was a hardworking man that was employed at an agricultural feed company until retirement. When Bob wasn’t working and taking care of his family, he enjoyed fishing and hunting. He had a store called “Bob’s Bargain Barn” that allowed him to pursue his passion of connecting with people. He was also a member of the Nazarene Church.

Bob was a happy man who enjoyed life and everyone around him. He was the man to children that other men couldn’t be; by doing so, he was an inspiration to others. He had stories that would bring joy to his audience and he would always put his fellow man before himself. His family came from France and he really displayed the French charm. His presence will truly be missed.

Bob is survived by his wife Lenita Morang and sons Kenneth and Larry and daughter Bobbi Jo. His grandchildren Amy Mejias, Lawrence Morang, Tiffany Morang-Hatfield, Brittany Ferris, and Alyssa Ludden. His great-grandchildren Jasmine and Ariana Mejias, Brooklynn Niebaum, Hunter Hatfield, Sylas Morang, Andrew Grivo, Natalie Ferris, and Kierra Hatfield.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00pm on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at Lake Memorial Gardens Cemetery, at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.
