Obituary of Ira Vaughn Sablan

Ira Vaughn Sablan, age 75, of Richland, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 3, 2017 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Ira was born June30, 1942 in San Angelo, Texas.  She was the daughter of William Max Clevenger and Othell Vivian Hienae.

Some would describe Ira as a stubborn, ornery old lady, set in her ways.  Many others would agree and some added that she was a strong tough woman, and a mother who stood up and would defend her family with whatever means necessary, while hiding her sensitive heart that was easily broken.

Ira enjoyed a good road trip and loved being in the great outdoors. She was fascinated by a good story and was very skillful with her hands, from building things to the crafty creations of her dream catchers. She was imaginative and resourceful.

Ira is survived by two sisters, Ruth Edna of Texas and Barbara Joyce of Colorado; five daughters, Tomisita Renee' of Missouri, Marie Inez, Joyce Gail, Marcella Ann and Floreina Mae, all of California; three sons, Anthony Eugene of Missouri, Julian Allen, and Edwardo Fransico, both of California; 20 plus grandchildren and even more great-grandchildren; and extended family, Janis Mae, Chasity, Cathy & family of Missouri, and her good friend Maxine; along with many more.

Celebration of Life will be held Friday, October 6, 2017 from 6:00-7:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.
