Obituary of Dallas Anne-Marie Barchenski
On Saturday, October 21, 2017 our Heavenly Father called His daughter, Dallas Anne-Marie Barchenski, home after struggling for years with diabetes and its complications.
Dallas was born on January 12, 1964 in Wyandotte, Kansas. She was the daughter of Edward (Sr.) and Diane (Holland) Barchenski.
She worked for the last 15 years on the night shift at the Lake of the Ozarks Community Bridge where she made many friends who passed through there. Dallas enjoyed music, reading, spending lots of time in the pool at her brother’s house and with his sons Aleck and Luke. She loved day-tripping around the Lake with her sister Stevie and was ready to go at the first ring of the phone.
Dallas is survived by her mother, Diane Barchenski of Shawnee, Kansas and four siblings; Leslie Zinser and husband Dan of Shawnee, Kansas, Stevie Hines and husband Doc of Eldon, Missouri, Dana Johnson of Weston, Missouri, and Chip Barchenski and wife Julie of Eldon, Missouri; her adopted brother Phil Krause, of Springfield, Missouri; nieces and nephews, Jay, Matt, Kaytie, Jackie, Jake, Tomi Jo, Tymber, Molly, Aleck and Luke; along with 13 great nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father Edward Aleck Barchenski, Sr.
We have lost so much in one person, but heaven has gained another, most extraordinary angel.
Service will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Walk on The Water Faith Church, Osage Beach, Missouri.
In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to Kids Harbor Inc., Osage Beach, Missouri.
