On August 19, 2000, Donna was united in marriage to Bill Beasley of Galax, Virginia. They shared 13 wonderful years together at the time of his death.

She was an honorary member of the Mount Airy class of ‘53. Donna enjoyed shopping and was an avid reader. She loved reading her Bible and learning about the characters therein. Donna would say, “When I get to heaven, I am going to know those people!” Donna was a member of First Baptist Church of Galax, Virginia and loved serving in her church and community. She also served on missionary trips abroad to Honduras and Costa Rica. Donna’s greatest joy was spending time with her family.
