Obituary of Brenda K. Crain

Brenda K. Crain, age 61, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at her home in Camdenton.

Brenda was born November 22, 1955 in Camdenton, Missouri. She was the daughter of Ruben and Marjorie (McGuire) Burns.

On May 23, 1992 in Camdenton, Missouri, Brenda was joined in marriage to Ernest Crain, Jr, who preceded her in death on November 27, 2003.

Brenda worked at several restaurants throughout the area as a cook.  Brenda enjoyed life to the fullest. She loved making crafts of all kinds and enjoyed painting and writing poems.  She had an outgoing personality and loved visiting with people and going to yard sales. Brenda was also a member of Webster Grove Missionary Baptist Church of Camdenton, Missouri. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, whom she loved dearly.

Brenda is survived by her son Andy Looney, Jr. and wife, Janice, of Ft. Worth, Texas; her daughters, Natasha Wescott and Tiffany Crain, both of Camdenton, Missouri; her mother, Marjorie Boyles, of Camdenton, Missouri;  her brothers Ruben Dale Burns and wife, Linda, and Lester Manley; her sisters, Deborah Golden and husband, Nick, Shelly Manley, and Marjorie Mason; eleven grandchildren, Lane Weidman, Holden Looney, Tatum Looney, Amre Eoff, Braiden Looney, Sabrina Looney, Aspin Wescott, Zoey Wescott, Justen Owens, Samantha Owens, and Corbin Hicks; three great-grandchildren, Hunter Thorton, Bailey Looney, and Emma Looney.

She was preceded in death by her father Ruben Burns, and her husband, Ernest Crain, Jr.

A visitation for Brenda will be held Saturday, November 4, 2017 from 4:30-5:30pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.

Private Family Burial will be at Mt. Horeb Cemetery.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
