Obituary of Cary Lee Whitworth

Cary Lee Whitworth, age 45, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017, at Osage Beach, Missouri.

Cary was born July 18, 1972, in Lebanon, Missouri. He was the son of Gary and Linda (Vaughn) Whitworth.

Cary worked as a plumber for Brown Plumbing. He was an avid Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs fan.  As a youngster, he always watched these teams with his ball and bat or football gear ready to play. Cary loved music and playing the drums was his passion.  He enjoyed fishing, playing golf and all kind of sports.   Cary’s greatest joy was loving and spending time with Cheryl Riegerix and his family and friends.

He is survived by his mother and step-father Linda and Jim Stewart of Camdenton, Missouri; his father Gary and step mother Phyllis Whitworth of Queen Creek, Arizona; one brother Brian Whitworth of Camdenton, Missouri and one sister Wendy Rigby and husband Chris of Columbia, Missouri; his step children, Ashli Smith, Heather Kelley, and Cody Kelley and step grandchildren, Parker Smith, Spencer Smith and Karina Brown; his step sisters Michelle Robinett, Caryn Willis, Amanda Burks and Michelle Bennett and step brother Jason John; along with nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

Cary was preceded in death by his grandparents.  His fiance Cheryl Riegerix passed away the same day as Cary.

Services will be held Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri.  The family will receive friends for visitation from 2:00-3:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

 Inurnment will be held at Hedges Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri.
