Obituary of Vicki Lynn Petersen

Vicki Lynn Petersen, age 60, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Monday, November 20, 2017 at University of Missouri Hospital in Columbia, Missouri.

Vicki was born December 10, 1956 in Miami Beach, Florida.  She was the daughter of Elbert Powell Jr and Wilma (Berg) Ragan.

In 1991 at Sacramento, California, Vicki was united in marriage to Paul Petersen who preceded her in death.

Vicki worked in the accounting department of Verizon telecommunications in Folsom, California for over 30 years.

Vicki, wonderful mother, daughter, sister and friend.  She enjoyed decorating and working on crafts and floral arranging.  Her greatest joy in life was her family and spending time with them.

Vicki is survived by her daughter, Sarah Nicole Petersen of Osage Beach, Missouri; her mother and step-father Wilma and Jack Martin; her brothers Eddie P. Ragan and wife, Angel of China Springs, Texas and Robert A. Martin and wife, Sara, of Roach, Missouri; her sister Donna Jean Pennington and her son William of Camdenton, Missouri; along with several nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elbert Ragan, Jr.; and two sons, Alex Edward Petersen and Mark Ryan Petersen.

Services will be held Friday, November 24, 2017 at 12:00 noon at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Camdenton, Missouri.  The family welcomes friends for visitation from 11:00 am - 12:00 noon prior to services at the church.
