Obituary of Karen Marsala

Karen Marsala, age 73, of Lake Ozark, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach.

Karen was born on July 26, 1944 in New York City, New York. She was the daughter of Walter and Betty Appleton.

She had an unmatched spirit, ability for joy and a heart so big it is difficult to believe it could ever stop beating. Karen’s long battle with Parkinson’s Disease has concluded and we are sure she is in a better place. She was a beloved wife to her husband Thomas Marsala and a wonderful, caring friend to all. Karen was loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Service will be held on Friday, December 1, 2017 at 5:30 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation starting at 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
