Obituary of Louise Marie Teagarden

Louise Marie Teagarden, age 76, of Rocky Mount, Missouri, passed away Saturday November 25, 2017  at University of Missouri Hospitals in Columbia, Missouri.

Louise was born July 18, 1941 in Chicago, Illinois.  She was the daughter of Harry Harrison Walton and Helen Eugenia (Kelleher) Walton.

On October 15, 1977 in Lenexa, Kansas,  she united in marriage to Rudolph Teagarden who preceded her in death February 22, 2013. They had shared over 35 fabulous years together at the time of his death.

Louise is survived by her sons, Steve Drummond, Richard Teagarden, Steven Teagarden, and Dan Drummond; her daughters, Laureen Fanning and Kathleen Duffy; her brothers, Edward Walton, David Walton, and Tom Walton; her sisters, Marilyn Dorcak and Sue Valentine; nine grandchildren, Heather Varner, Drew Beougher, Melissa Hickman, Lane Weatherson, Chris Beougher, Landon Weatherson, Jake Teagarden, Zach Teagarden, and Jed Teagarden; and eleven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents  Harry and Helen Walton; her husband Rudolph Teagarden; and a daughter, Nancy Drummond.

Louise was very active and was always full of sunshine and laughter.  She was a member of numerous bridge clubs and also loved her bocce ball and shuffle board tournaments in Florida where she spent her winters.  Louise was a woman who worked hard to make others happy through her Mary Kay business and sales at JCrew.  She loved what she did.

Louise was a devout Catholic and was a member of Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church and Our Lady of the Light Catholic Church. 

Service will be held Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Ozark, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to service at the church.  Following services, friends are welcome to join the family in celebrating Louise's life at a luncheon to be held at Timberlake Village Clubhouse from 1:00-3:00 p.m. (1 Timberlake Village Ct., Rocky Mount, Missouri)

Memorial donations are suggested to Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Ozark, Missouri.
