Billie Alice Clark, age 93, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Windsor Estates in Camdenton. She was the daughter of William Oscar Manley and Minnie Alice Cottingham and was born in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma on February 27, 1924. Billie grew up in Tulsa but moved to Kansas City as a child. Billie was first married to Allan Ireland on July 4, 1942 and together they had Nancy Diane Ireland. Allan passed away in 1954. Billie then married Loren Clark in 1958 and together they had Cheryl Lynne Clark.

During her life she held working positions as a secretary, office manager, and administrative assistant at R.B. Jones Insurance, Global Airlines, and Park College. She loved her jobs and was very proud of her positions. But in her younger years she and Allan raised pleasure horses. Billie loved horseback riding with her husband and Nancy. They belonged to a riding group and on Sundays, they rode many miles with friends in the group. After she and John married, they became active in the VFW Post 7356 in Parkville. Billie had other hobbies that she loved also, including reading, sewing, playing the piano and knitting. She also thoroughly enjoyed a vodka martini.

Billie was a delightful, sweet individual. She had many friends through the years, and those friendships lasted 50 to 70 years in many cases. Billie had 2 daughters, 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. One of her favorite past-times was spending time with her daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She also loved the times spent with Warren and Margie Manley, her brother and sister in-law. They had many good times together through the years.
