Obituary of Glen R. Schlenfort

Glen R. Schlenfort, age 56, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Saturday,  December 16, 2017 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

 

Glen was born July 18, 1961 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Kurt and Connie (Smith) Schlenfort.

 

Glen served his country proudly with the United States Air Force.  More recently, Glen worked as a welder and worked on welding boat lifts in the lake area.  He enjoyed spending days outdoors hunting and playing golf and loved spending time with friends and family, and his dog, Rollie.

 

Glen is survived by his father Kurt Schlenfort of Camdenton, Missouri; maternal grandmother, Estelle Smith-Galloway of Camdenton, Missouri; his brother David Schlenfort and wife, Anita of Linn Creek, Missouri;  his sister Tara Jarka and husband, Daniel of Elburn, Illinois; nieces Ali Schlenfort and Anna Jarka and nephews Tyler Jarka and David Schlenfort II.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother Connie Schlenfort; his grandfather Wilburn Smith and one great-nephew, Karson Rizer.

 

An informal family luncheon will be held at 2:00 pm,  Tuesday, December 19 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton.
