Obituary of Adrian C. Downing

Adrian C. Downing, age 69, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Thursday, December 21, 2017 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

 

Adrian was born November 7, 1948 in Camdenton, Missouri to Paul and Ruth Downing where he lived with three sisters, Donna, Betty and Barbara, and seven brothers, Jerry, John, Earl, Larry, Chess, Jimmy, and Gene.

 

After graduating High School, Adrian served two terms with the United States Navy.  He walked from state to state just to sight see.  He loved nature and all God's handiwork.  He also loved animals and taking pictures of family and wildlife.

 

Adrian's passion was playing with and loving on all his nieces and nephews.  They were all very close to his heart and he would drop everything just to play with them.  He will always be tucked away in a special place in their hearts.  He was a good soul and will be missed.

 

He is survived by his sisters, Donna Christner and Barbara Downing; his brothers, Jerry, John, Earl, Larry, Chess and Gene;  along with several nieces and nephews.

 

He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Ruth Downing; his sister Betty Shultz; and his brother Jimmy Downing.

 

Private family services will be held at a later date.
