Obituary of James Leslie Keeney

James Leslie Keeney, age 53, of Linn Creek, Missouri, passed away Friday, January 19, 2018 at his home in Linn Creek.

James was born on January 16, 1965 in Kansas City, Missouri. He was the son of Reverend Warren and Mary (Morris) Keeney.

James worked several years in construction. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle with Bikers for Christ and attending church at Osage Beach First Assembly of God. He loved his family dearly and spending time with them brought him great joy.

James is survived by his mother Mary Keeney of Linn Creek, Missouri; daughters Jessika Keeney of Albany, Missouri, Leslie Keeney of Camdenton, Missouri and Autumn Keeney of Camdenton, Missouri; two grandchildren, Olivia and Elijah; two brothers, Glen and wife Rebecca of Montreal, Missouri and Gearl and wife Tiffany Burke of Osage Beach, Missouri; his girlfriend, Pam Doumel of Linn Creek, Missouri; along with lots of nieces, nephews and many friends who will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his father, Reverend Warren Dale Keeney, and sister Pam Phillips.

Services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 am. at the funeral home prior to service. Interment will be held at Hedges-Scott Cemetery, Camdenton, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, donations are suggested to the family and may be left at funeral home to help with services.
