Obituary of Kenneth A. Tucker

Kenneth A. Tucker, Jr., age 67, of Macks Creek, Missouri, passed away Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his home in Macks Creek.

Kenneth was born August 18, 1950 in Urbana, Missouri. He was the son of Kenneth A. Sr, and Freda Bernice (Willis) Tucker.

Junior was united in marriage to Belinda “Kay” Cady. Together they started a family in Macks Creek, Missouri where they had two sons, Drew and Kevin Tucker. Later in life, on July 1, 1996 in Macks Creek, Missouri, Kenneth was united in marriage to Amanda J. Balis.  They shared 21 years together as husband and wife at the time of Kenneth's death.

Kenneth graduated with the last class to graduate from Tunas High School.  He was a life-long resident of the Macks Creek, Branch and Tunas communities and was a familiar face to most in the area.  He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his days spent hunting, fishing and camping.  He was involved with the youth in the community as a Scout Master and coached T-Ball and Biddie-Ball for several years. 

Kenneth was a member of the Macks Creek Masonic Lodge #433.

Kenneth was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather, and a caring neighbor and friend to so many in the community. He will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved him.

Kenneth is survived by his wife, Amanda; his sons, Kenneth Andrew Tucker and wife, Samantha, of Macks Creek, Missouri and Kevin Lee Tucker and wife, Natalie, of Macks Creek, Missouri; his daughter Amanda Jean Tryon and husband, Philip, of Linn Creek, Missouri; his brothers, James Tucker of Tunas, Missouri and Paul Vernon Tucker and wife, Paula, of West Plains, Missouri; nine grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends.

Services will be held Friday, February 9, 2018; Masonic Service begins at 2:00 pm followed by funeral service at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Macks Creek, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:00-2:00 pm prior to services at the funeral home.

Interment will be held at Tucker Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri.
