Obituary of Felishia G. Jeffries

Felishia G. Jeffries, age 84, of Kaiser, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at her home in Kaiser.

 

Felishia was born May 13, 1933 in Eldon, Missouri. She was the daughter of Frank Henry and Lucy (Roberts) Carpenter.

 

Felishia spent many years taking care of her home and family and was an attentive wife and mother.

 

Felishia was a vibrant soul, one who never shied away from living life to its fullest.  She enjoyed a close relationship with God and fellowship with those of common faith.  She loved to spend time with family and enjoyed cooking large meals so everyone could visit and share a meal together.  She was an animal lover and was never without a pet.  She also enjoyed tatting, working crossword puzzles, and gardening.

 

She  is survived by her son Blaine Jeffries of Troy, Illinois; grandson Tucker Jeffries of Troy, Illinois and sister Emma Carpenter Gross (Isadore) of Lenexa, Kansas.  Felishia was  Aunt to Paula, Kenny, Yvette, Monica, Marie, Paul, Krystal, and Charlie.  She was a Great Aunt to Melissa, Kyle, Jesse, Amanda, Valerie, Tommy, Zion, and Josh, and was a Great-Great Aunt to Taylor, Brooklin and Oakley.

 

Felishia was preceded in death by her husband, Derrick; her parents Frank Carpenter and Lucy Umstead; two brothers, Howard and John; and sister Aletta along with one half-brother Fred and half -sister Mildred.
