Obituary of Elmer Adolph Kloeppel

Elmer Adolph Kloeppel, age 81 of Richland, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at his home.

Elmer was born September 4, 1936 in Freeburg, Missouri. He was the son of Conrad and Dorothy Kloeppel.

He was joined in marriage to Sharon Kay Wilkes on September 26, 1959. Together they had four children, Jerry, Robbie, Karen and Kelly. Sharon preceded Elmer in death on April 23, 1995. Later, he was united in marriage to Diann Dudley on December 3, 2001. At which time his family expanded to include daughters Teresa and Pepper and son Jamey.

Elmer was a talented craftsman. He enjoyed woodworking and making all kinds of crafts. Elmer also loved being on the Lake, fishing and hunting. He took joy in playing all types of games, like cards and board games. Music and dancing were his greatest loves in life. Elmer also dearly enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Elmer is survived by his wife Diann of the home; six children, Jerry and Pauletta Kloeppel of Richland, Missouri, Karen and David May of Macks Creek, Missouri, Kelly Waters of Waynesville, Missouri, Teresa and Randy Johnisee of Camdenton, Missouri, Pepper Eidson and Dean Niccum of St. Robert, Missouri, Jamey and Jamie Dudley of Grapeview, Washington; one sister, Catherine Reed of Jefferson City, Missouri; and sixteen grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and numerous nephews, nieces and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Conrad and Dorothy Kloeppel; one son Robbie; one grandson Matthew; three brothers and seven sisters.

Services will be held Saturday, March 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri. Inurnment will be at a later date at Stanton Chapel Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri.
