Obituary of Carolyn Ardith Campbell

Carolyn Ardith (Dehn) Campbell, 79, of Macks Creek, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at her home in Macks Creek.

Carolyn was born October 10, 1938 in Argentine, Kansas.  She was the daughter of Kenneth and Nellie (Halstead) Dehn.

On June 1, 1957 in Sugar Creek, Missouri, Carolyn was united in marriage to Kenneth Lee Campbell Sr. They shared 60 years of marriage together at the time of her death.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth of the home; her son Kenneth Lee Jr.  and wife, Gretchen of Macks Creek, Missouri; one daughter, Susan Lynn and husband Joe Erfurth of Sedalia, Missouri; her brother Kenneth Dehn of Texas; her sister Willa Farris of Marshall, Missouri; daughter-in-law Wanda Campbell of Macks Creek, Missouri;  sister -in-law Martha Dehn of Kansas City, Missouri; seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren.  

She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Nellie Campbell, one son John Alan Campbell, granddaughter Bethany Ann Wall and one brother, Donald Dehn.

Carolyn was a loving and devoted wife and helpmate to her husband, and a caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her children and their families. Carolyn enjoyed crocheting and cooking. She was a wonderful homemaker who helped create beautiful memories for her family to cherish.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday March 17, 2018 at Macks Creek Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri.  After services, family and friends will gather at the Macks Creek Senior Center for a dinner.
