Obituary of Milton L Jones

Milton L. Jones, age 88, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at his residence in Lake Ozark.  Milton was born July 24, 1929 in Bristol, Pennsylvania.

 

Milton, at a young age, delivered ice for ice boxes with his father.  He proudly served in the United States Army and later became a paramedic for Bristol Fire and Rescue.  Milton met a nurse named Virginia Cust and he married her.  They were married for 50 years until her death in 2003.   Milton worked for the US Government as a fire fighter Captain on several naval bases in California throughout his career until his retirement.  Milton and Virginia attended the Baptist Church there.  After retirement, they made their home in Lake Ozark, Missouri, where he loved to cook and golf.  His family loved his sense of humor.

 

Milton leaves behind a nephew Michael Badolato and his wife, Donna, of Lake Ozark, Missouri; a niece Marcelle Dinkel of Tunas, Missouri; a niece Katie Williams and her husband, Clayton, of Lebanon, Missouri.  He loved their children and grandchildren as his own.

 

Milton will be deeply missed by all his family and friends, and all those who knew and loved him.
