Obituary of Kathy Moulder

Kathy Moulder of Macks Creek, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 20, 2018, at the age of 61 after a battle with cancer.

Kathy will be forever remembered by her husband of 43 years, Joseph; her children, Darren of Macks Creek, Missouri, Scott and wife Kelli of Fair Grove, Missouri, Shawn and wife Whitney of Southgate, Michigan; grandsons, Silas, Beckett, and Corbin; stepmother, Madeline Cavender of Shreveport, Louisiana, stepbrother, Johnny Talley and wife Ginger of Keithville, Louisiana, and stepsister Sharon Howard and husband Bobby of Shreveport, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Neda Cavender; sister, Debra; and stepbrother, Howard Talley.

Kathy was born in Hobbs, New Mexico. She lived in Tioga, Louisiana until she was 14 and moved to Kirkwood, Missouri where she graduated from Kirkwood High School in 1974. She married Joseph on July 6, 1974. They moved to Springfield, Missouri where she began a career as a dental assistant, and started a family. They moved to Macks Creek in 1985. Kathy dedicated much of her time to Macks Creek school activities such as PTA, booster club, band club, and serving on the school board for 12 years. She enjoyed gardening, needlepoint, cooking, raising her 3 sons, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Kathy was a member of the Church of Christ and was saved and baptized at the age of 12 while living in Tioga. She attended the First Baptist Church of Macks Creek.

Visitation is Friday, March 23, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Macks Creek, Missouri. Funeral Service will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at 2:00pm at First Baptist Church of Macks Creek. Interment will follow at Macks Creek Cemetery, Macks Creek, Missouri.

Memorial donations are suggested to American Cancer Society.
