Obituary of Teresa M. Burnett

Teresa M. Burnett, 64, of Roach, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Teresa was born July 13, 1953 in Lubbock, Texas. She was the daughter of Earl and Hazel (Hopper) White.

On June 20, 1981 in Waynesville, Missouri, Teresa married Clarence "Andy" Burnett.  They had shared over 36 years together as husband and wife at the time of her death.

Teresa worked as a stocking clerk and associate for the Camdenton Wal-Mart for over 15 years.  Previously, she had worked as a truck driver and a nurse’s aide. In her spare time, Teresa enjoyed several hobbies including cross stitch and crochet, and she loved spending days outdoors gardening and doing yard work.  Teresa also enjoyed playing bingo and dancing when the opportunity arose.

Teresa was a loving and devoted wife, and a wonderful caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother to her children and their families.  She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.

Teresa is survived by her husband, Andy; her sons Keith Allen White and wife, Kathie, of Cabool, Missouri and Kevin Lee Luttrell and wife, Hazel, of Fredericksburg, Virginia; her daughter Valeriee Kay Brashear and husband, Jimmy, of Camdenton, Missouri; grandchildren, Mindy Oetterer (Ben), Sarah Herndon (Brandon), Cody Lynn White, Tobias and Nick Pickering, and Sally Anne and Dina Powell; one great-grandson Elijah James Brashear; her brothers Dwayne White of Nashville, Tennessee and Michael White of Las Cruces, New Mexico; her sisters Terry Lynn Adams and husband, Scott, of Hatch, New Mexico and Christina Ampofo and husband Kwame of Manassas, Virginia; along with several other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Hazel White; step mother Mona White; her brother Earl White and her sister Shirley Honaker.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Linn Creek Christian Church, Linn Creek, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:00 noon - 1:00 pm prior to services at the church.

Memorial donations are suggested to the American Lung Association.
