Obituary of Connie Jean Gridley

Connie Jean Gridley, age 70, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 23, 2018 at Capital Region Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri.

Connie was born March 15, 1948 in Sioux City, Iowa. She was the daughter of Shaffy and Marie (Abboud) Rehan.   She graduated from Heelan Catholic High School and later attended cosmetology school.

On October 26, 1998, Connie married Larry Gridley who preceded her in death November 8, 2017. 

Connie loved shopping, particularly from her vice, the shopping channels, and loved to buy gifts for others.   She was a “people” person and made quick friends with nearly everyone she met, which was perfect for her job with HyVee Grocery Store in Osage Beach.  She thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking to her customers, new and old, or with out of town folks.  She loved her work, and especially her friends at work.  Connie will be missed by her family and friends.

Connie is survived by her son Troy Bohlke; her daughter Marcie Gussman and husband Corey; her grandchildren Noah and Zoe, whom she loved dearly; and her siblings, Dennis Rehan, Carol Joy, and Tom Rehan.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 4:00-6:00 pm at Jubilee Church in Kaiser, Missouri.
