Obituary of Gary Lee Jones

Gary Lee Jones, age 72, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018, at Ozark Care Center in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Gary was born September 25, 1945, in Alton, Illinois. He was the son of James  and Betty Jones.

Gary served his country proudly with the United States Army and later owned and operated his own janitorial and window cleaning business.

On April 20, 1980 in Pensacola, Florida, Gary was united in marriage to Wanda Ann Holland, who preceded him in death.  They had shared twenty years together as husband and wife at the time of her death.

Gary was also preceded in death by his parents James and Betty Jones;  his son Jimmy Jones;  his brother Troyce Jones; his sister Willant Jones; and one grandchild.

Gary is survived by three sons; Timothy Jones and wife Catherin of Pensacola, Florida, Kevin Jones, of Mt. Olive, Illinois, and Josh Jones and wife Danielle, of Osage Beach, Missouri;  five daughters, Wanda Richie and husband Michael, of Stanton, Illinois, Lisa Jones, of Osage Beach, Missouri, Tabbie Teeter, of Mt. Olive, Illinois, Priscilla Jones, of Branson, Missouri, and Christina Avalos, of Branson, Missouri;  two brothers,  James Jones II, of Mt. Olive, Illinois and Marty Jones, of Alton, Illinois; twenty four grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren; along with several other relatives and friends.

Services will be held  Saturday April 14, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 801 High Street,  Iberia, Missouri.

Interment will be at Hawkins Cemetery in Brumley, Missouri.
