Obituary of Jim P. Rice

Jim P. Rice, age 62, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri passed away on Sunday, April 8, 2018 at his home.

Jim was born on August 31, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Jack and Pat Rice.

He was united in marriage to Sandra Davis on August 16, 1986 in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jim worked as an Estimator in various aspects of the construction industry. He had a love for boating and drove the Pirate Ship at Captain Ron’s after retirement. Jim was a loyal Cardinal’s fan. He enjoyed football and many other sports as well. Jim loved living life to the fullest; his greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by his wife Sandra Rice of the home; son John Rice of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; daughter Annie Rice of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; two sisters Debi Helbling and husband Tim of St. Louis, Missouri and Patti Anderson and husband Mike of Gerald, Missouri; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Pat Rice, sister Kathy Gray and brother in law Ron Gray.

A Celebration of Life Open House will be held on April 28th beginning at 4 p.m., at The Stables in Sunrise Beach, Missouri.
