Obituary of Marissa Kayleen Zago

Marissa Kayleen Zago, age 20, of Versailles, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Lake Regional Health System in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Marissa was born May 28, 1997 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Richard and Stephanie (Moore) Zago.  

Marissa loved music, singing and writing poetry. Her greatest joy in life were her daughters.

Marissa is survived by her twin daughters, Ariella Zago-Hatfield and Isabella Zago-Hatfield;  the father of her girls, Dakota Hatfield;  her parents,  Richard and Stephanie Zago, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri; her brothers,  Eric Zago, of Kansas City, Missouri, Zac Oldham, of Kansas City, Missouri, nephew Rhett Oldham,  brother, Ricky Zago, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri and Nicky Zago, of Sunrise Beach, Missouri;  sisters,  Taylor Worrell, of Kansas City, Missouri and Shelby Cooper and husband Dalton, of Lawrence, Kansas; grandparents, Kathleen Carpenter, of Sunrise Beach ,Missouri; Rev. James and Deborah Moore, of Kansas City, Missouri and great grandmother,  Dorothy Moore of Kansas City, Missouri;  and many other relatives and friends.

Marissa was preceded in death by her grandfather Clinton Carpenter.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 12:00pm at New Life Community Church, 10500 North Central Street, Kansas City, Missouri. The family will receive friends for visitation from 11:00am-12:00 pm prior to services at the church.

Interment will be Monday, April 23, 2018 at Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family for Ariella and Isabella education fund.
