Obituary of Allen Loyd Brodecker
Allen Loyd Brodecker, age 84, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away on Thursday, May 17, 2018.
He was born in Topeka, Kansas on September 10, 1933 to Melvin and Helen Brodecker.
He was married to his college sweetheart and best friend, Sue (Benson) Brodecker for 60 years. Allen was affectionately called “Buss” as a nickname by most everyone who knew him because he wore Buster Brown shoes as a child. Buss served in the United States Army from 1953-1955. He worked in grocery management and the real estate field until after his first child was born. Buss started working for Pizza Hut Inc., as an area general manager until he became the National Franchise Director through 1974. He then ventured out into Pizza Hut Franchise Ownership, while also owning and operating several other restaurants in the lake area until he retired in 2006
Buss is survived by his wife Sue, his son Craig and wife Renate; daughter Stacy and husband John; five grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Jeremy, Wendy, Ashley and eight great grandchildren.
A visitation will be held on Monday, May 21, 2018 from 10:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Church, Lake Ozark, Missouri. A Mass will be held at 12:00 noon with a Luncheon following at the church.
Inurnment will be held Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at the Veterans Wall, Osage Beach, Missouri for family only.
