Obituary of Lois Mary Laird

Lois Mary Laird, age 94, of Osage Beach, Missouri passed away on Monday, May 21, 2018 at Ozark Rehabilitation and Health Care Center, Osage Beach, Missouri.

Lois was born on April 11, 1924 in Linn County, Iowa. She was the daughter of Henry and Ethel (Davis) Stuckenschnieder.

On May 25, 1946, in St. Louis, Missouri, Lois was united in marriage to Clifford Laird. They shared 57 years of marriage together at the time of his passing on April 26, 2003.

Lois worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service for many years. She had a love for quilting and hand crafted many quilts.

She is survived by her daughters Rose Marie Ball and husband Edwin of King George, Virginia and Kathy Parks and husband Orrin of Roach, Missouri; her brothers Paul Stuckenschnieder and wife Linda and Martin Stuckenschnieder and wife Kathy; her sister Marge Kosydor and husband Ron; and eleven grandchildren and many great grandchildren.

Lois was preceded in death by her husband Clifford Laird; her son Robert Laird; brothers John Stuckenschnieder and Ed Stuckenschnieder; her sisters Ruth Brust, Lorraine Staab, and Carol Reynolds.

Service will be held on Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. prior to service at the funeral home.

Interment will be held Saturday, May 26, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Mt. Hermon Cemetery, Salem, Missouri.
