Obituary of Brittany LeAnn Barfield

Brittany LeAnn Barfield, age 24, of Edwards, Missouri, passed away Thursday, July 12, 2018 in Camden County, Missouri.

Brittany was born May 7, 1994 in Tulsa, Oklahoma, the daughter of Curtis Wayne Barfield and Tina Joy Howe.

Brittany was a 2013 graduate of Camdenton High School and was currently attending cosmetology classes.  Brittany loved living at the lake and all the activities surrounding the water. She also enjoyed shopping any chance she could. Her greatest joy by far however, were her boys. They were the world to her.

Brittany is survived by her beloved sons, Jason Joseph Kennedy and Kieran Wayne Kennedy of the home; her fiance’ Kevin Jason Kennedy of the home; her mother Tina Fortner of Edwards, Missouri and step-father Joe Fortner of Laurie, Missouri; her brothers Anthony Wayne Barfield and Timothy Waylan Barfield, both of Houston, Texas; her niece Ellie Jo Barfield of Houston, Texas; her paternal grandparents Judy and Dan Brundidge of Houston, Texas; her step-paternal grandfather Richard Alvin Fortner of Cross Timbers, Missouri; her uncle, Lucky Howe and wife Pamela of Spring, Texas; her aunts Debbie Howe of Sweeney, Texas and Nora Barfield-Witzkoske of Tulsa, Oklahoma; her cousin Jennifer Graham of Tulsa, Oklahoma; along with numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Brittany is also survived by the Kennedy Family.

She was preceded in death by her father Curtis Wayne Barfield; her paternal grandfather, Bill Barfield; her maternal grandparents, William Howe and Brenda Lewis; her uncle Chuck Howe; and her step paternal grandmother, Emily Colleen Fortner.

Services will be held Saturday, July 21, 2018 at 3:00 pm at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00-3:00 pm at the funeral home.

Memorial donations are suggested to the family.
