Obituary of Jodie White

Jodie White, age 62, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away on Sunday, July 29, 2018 at her home in Osage Beach.

Jodie was born May 1, 1956 in Fort Chaffee, Arkansas.  She was the daughter of Kenneth and Shirley (Bernshausen) Thomas.

 On May 24th, 1996 Jodie was united in marriage to Randy White, who preceded her in death.

After college, Jodie pursued a high school teaching and coaching career.  In a few years, she switched her career path and worked at St Francis Medical Center for 17 years in various positions from the dietary department to nurses’ aide. Following her marriage to Randy, Jodie and Randy moved to the Lake of the Ozarks and she worked at Tan-Tar-a Resort.  She also had a passion for finding great resale items and working side-by-side with her mother in a resale shop.  Jodie loved a wide variety of activities at the lake and she particularly loved playing pickleball with her friends.  Her family and friends will miss her dearly.

Jodie is survived by her mother, Shirley Thomas of Osage Beach, Missouri; her sister, Jill (Teddy) Eads of Manito, Illinois; her brother, Troy (Kathi) Thomas of Pekin, Illinois along with many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Thomas of Manito, Illinois; her brother, Jay Thomas of Spring Lake, Illinois and husband, Randy White of Osage Beach, Missouri.
