Obituary of Jennifer Lynn Keen

Jennifer Lynn Keen, 56, of South Elgin, Illinois, passed away on August 11, 2018. She was born in DeKalb, Illinois on July 21, 1962 to Michael and Muriel Thompson.

Jennifer was always active.  In her early years, she was a gymnast, diver, softball player and a roller bladder.  She was a compassionate person, loving mother, wife and sister as well as a RN.  She was also very daring.  There was nothing she would not try. She even bungy jumped. No one could put an obstacle in front of her that she couldn’t overcome. She loved to cook and entertain. She was the social butterfly of the family, beautiful inside and out. Jennifer will always be on in a million!

She is survived by her husband, Ron Keen, Sr.: children: Clint Walt and Sean Harold; grandchildren: Maddie, Maggie, Kaci, TJ and Brandon; her mother; siblings: Michael (Molly) Thompson, Dennis (Elaine) Thompson, Tim (Dana) Thompson, Becky Estenssoro, Nancy (David) Moline; stepchildren: Wayne Keen, Kari (Tim) Smith, Tim Keen, Brett (Kelsey) Keen, nieces and nephews: Gordon, Ross (Cecily), Brandon, Shane, Christopher, Audra, Matthew, Jacob (Samantha), and Kathryn.

She is preceded in death by her father; and brother Christopher Thompson.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, August 25, 2018 at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Camdenton, Missouri.

Inurnment will be at Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton.
