Obituary of Henry Leroy Brockes

Henry Leroy Brockes, age 69, of Tuscumbia, Missouri passed away on Thursday, October 11, 2018 at Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center.

Henry was born on July 22, 1949 in Tuscumbia, Missouri. He was the son of Samuel and Bonnie (Bilyeu) Brockes.

On February 23, 2007, Henry was united in marriage to Joyce Ann McCallahan in Tuscumbia, Missouri. They’ve shared over 11 years of marriage together at the time of his death.

Henry enjoyed working as a mechanic and building model airplanes and cars in his free time.  He was also an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing, hunting and camping. Above all, his greatest treasure in life was spending time with friends and family and telling his jokes to make them laugh.

He is survived by his wife Joyce Ann; his sons, Ronnie Brockes and Johnny Brockes, both of Iberia, Missouri; four brothers, Leon Charles Moscow of Moscow Mills, Missouri, Harold Wayne Brockes of Meta, Missouri, William Frank Bay Jr. of Crocker, Missouri, and Joe Bax of Crocker, Missouri; and six sisters, Patsy Visser of Tuscumbia, Missouri, Kathy Lepper of Versailles, Missouri, Karen Bax of Dixon, Missouri, Pam Bax of Tuscumbia, Missouri, Arlene Gumm of Waynesville, Missouri and Denise Bax of Crocker, Missouri.

Henry was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel and Bonnie Brockes, step-dad John Gallogoes, two nephews and one cousin.
