Obituary of David Anthony Laboy

David Anthony Laboy, age 28, passed away Friday, October 12, 2018 at his home in Osage Beach, Missouri.

David was born on October 9, 1990 in Buffalo, New York. He was the son of David Laboy of Cheektowaga, New York and Lisa Marie Boyd of Osage Beach, Missouri.

David was a man of many skills and talents. He was a highly skilled cook for many of the local lake area restaurants. David worked with his mother when he could, doing graphics and signs, and was currently learning the flooring business. He also cut hair for so many friends just to help them out and make them feel good about themselves. He had a love for music and he listened to anything he could get his hands on. David was learning to play guitar and he practiced daily.  His greatest joy in life was spending time with his children, Emma and Luca, and other family members.

He is survived by his children Emmalyn Grace Harris(4yrs) and Luca Santiago Laboy(2years); his mother Lisa Marie Boyd of Osage Beach, Missouri; his father David Laboy of Cheektowaga, New York; siblings Adrianna M. Laboy of Brookville, Pennsylvania, Joseph S. Laboy of Laramie, Wyoming, Allison E. Barber of Camdenton, Missouri, Hayden C. Barber of Osage Beach, Missouri and Gabriel R. Laboy of Cheektowaga, New York; and niece Marilyn Elizabeth Laboy-Rubin of Brookfield, Pennsylvania.

The family would like to give a special thanks to all those that supported David and lifted him up.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2018 at 6:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
