Obituary of Joyce Lee McDowell

Joyce Lee McDowell, age 79, long time resident of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 15, 2018 at Delmar Gardens Nursing Home, O’Fallon, Missouri.

Joyce was born on March 2, 1939 in Valley Park, Missouri.

Joyce was a dedicated homemaker. She loved dancing to Elvis and shopping whenever she could.

She is survived by her two sons, Alan (Nikki) McDowell and Darrel (Julie) McDowell and one granddaughter, Kristina.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Freedom Church of Christ Cemetery, Montreal, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 10:00-11:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2018 prior to service at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Osage Beach, Missouri.
