Obituary of Allan Herbert Solomon

Allan “Al” Herbert Solomon, age 79, of Osage Beach, Missouri, passed away Thursday, October 25, 2018 at his home with his loved ones present.

Al was born on August 30, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Harry and Anna (Levin) Solomon.

“Al, the workin’ man’s pal," never met a stranger. A1 Lock & Key, Chevy’s Bar, Alleycats, and Grand Glaize Vending are among some of his many endeavors over his colorful lifetime. Al was like a father to everyone. He is one of the true legends to grace these shores of The Lake of The Ozarks.

He is survived by his son Brent Solomon and daughter Nicole Solomon McCullough; son in law Jesse McCullough; his only grandchild Sloane Lillian Solomon; sister Delores Wolf; nieces and nephews, Debbie, Suzie, Jay Solomon, Robbie and Shelly Kaner and Richard Wolf, as well as many cousins on the west coast.  And a very special thank you to Brent's fiance,Stacia, for loving Bev and Al for 30+ years.

Al is preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Beverly Solomon, and his parents Harry and Anna Solomon.

A graveside service with military honors will be held on Sunday, October 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Lake Memorial Gardens, Osage Beach, Missouri.
