Obituary of Judy Carleen Ezard

Judy was born March 9th, 1940 in Loma Linda, California to Carleen and Carl D. Herbert.  The family moved back to Missouri after World War II.  Judy attended Camdenton Schools where she was a cheerleader and played volleyball and softball.  She was also a member of the Lake of the Ozarks Water & Ski Show. 

During the J-Bar-H Rodeo years, Judy had a horse named Ginger.  You could find Judy all over town riding her horse bare back. Judy also spent several summers waitressing and pulling celebrities skiing at the Ha Ha Tonka Lodge. After high school, Judy attended Drury College and graduated from William Woods College in 1961. 

On November 11, 1962 Judy was united in marriage to William James Ezard.  To this union three children were born.  She is survived by her husband Bill, daughter Julie Dinsdale (Ty) of Linn Creek, Mo., son Travis Ezard (Stephanie) of Camdenton, Mo., and son Brock Ezard of Osage Beach, Mo.  She is also survived by seven grandchildren.  Josie, Polly, and Daphne Dinsdale, Dallas, Jackson, Cooper, and Ellie Ezard.  Judy is also survived by sisters Mary Mosier of Tulsa, OK and Joan Fewell of Camdenton, Mo. Plus many friends and relatives. 

Judy spent many years involved in the Camdenton Jaycee Wives.  She also loved volunteering at the Well Child Care Center making sure children received free medical care. When her children were younger, she was the director of Camdenton Little League softball and baseball.  Judy loved watching her children and grandchildren play sports.  Judy had a big heart for animals. 

Her family has asked for memorial contributions to be made to the Dogwood Animal Shelter.

Services will be Monday, October 29, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m. prior to service at the funeral home.
