Obituary of Mary Alice Bullock

Mary Alice Bullock, age 91, of Tunas, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Camdenton Windsor Estates.

Mary was born December 31, 1927 in Chicago, Illinois. She was the daughter of Clyde and Nellie (Johnson) Scott.

On May 6, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois, Mary was united in marriage to George R. Bullock, who preceded her in death August 13, 2002.   George and Mary had shared over 56 years of marriage together at the time of George’s death.

Mary and George enjoyed working their farm together and living the rural life after their retirement from Overland Park, Kansas.   They loved the simple country life they lived, shared with their family and friends, along with their beloved dogs.  Among her many talents, Mary enjoyed people and worked in the Camden County Library, Camden County Courthouse and later with her daughter-in-law Janine for several years.   She loved her family more than anything and will be missed beyond words.

Mary is survived by her son Glen Bullock and wife, Janine, of Camdenton, Missouri and her daughter Georgiana Bullock of Tunas, Missouri.  She is also survived by three grandchildren; Chris Bullock, Josh Bullock, Steve Crook and their daughter, Jackie Heath and Morgan Bullock, Amy and their children Nolan, Ben, Mary Kate and Brecken.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Clyde and Nellie Scott; her husband George R. Bullock; and her daughter Alice Dale Bullock.

Graveside Services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, January 4, 2019, at Hedges Cemetery in Camdenton, Missouri.
