Obituary of Betty Ann (Probst) Young

Betty Ann (Probst) Young, age 84, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Betty was born March 13, 1934 in Jefferson City, Missouri.  She was the daughter of Otto J. and Betty (Gerling) Probst.

Betty worked as an interior designer for many years before her retirement.  She enjoyed several hobbies through the years, including sewing and quilting and was an avid reader. Betty was an active member of Lake Presbyterian Church where she enjoyed singing with the choir. Her greatest joy in life was her family and spending as much time as possible with them was her favorite pastime.

Betty is survived by her Children; Lynne Armstrong and husband, Lane, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Deborah Couch and husband, David, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Robert Linhardt of Lincoln, Nebraska and Pamela L. Katz of Osage Beach, Missouri; five grandchildren, Jason Armstrong, Christopher Roth, Kyle Linhardt, Sam Roth and Bradley Linhardt; and three great-grandchildren, Laila Roth, Everleigh Roth and Cohen Roth.  Betty is also survived by her niece Lisa Chattin; and her nephew Patrick Hale.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents Otto and Betty Probst and her sister Marilyn Hale.

Services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Lake Presbyterian Church, Osage Beach, Missouri.

Interment will be held at later date at Hickory Hill Cemetery.
