Obituary of Joshua Arthur Duncan

Joshua Arthur (Josh) Duncan, age 37, of Lebanon, Missouri, passed away Saturday, January 12, 2019 in Lebanon.

Josh was born December 30, 1981 in Columbia, Missouri.  He was the son of Jim and MaryBeth (Koenig) Duncan.

Josh grew up at the lake and was a familiar face at his family's business, Duncan Jewelry in Osage Beach, Missouri. He worked there as a jeweler and had a natural love for the business.  He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and traveling as often as he could.  Josh had a heart of gold and was always willing to help others out.  He loved passing out donations of food with the Lake Ozark Fire Department each year.  Josh was a graduate of the Teen Challenge program.  Above all, his family was most important to him and he loved them dearly. He especially enjoyed taking the kids to McDonalds for ice cream.

Josh is survived by his parents, Jim and MaryBeth Duncan of Lake Ozark, Missouri;  his son, Carter Lee Roche of Moberly, Missouri; his step-son, Caleb Magnusson, of St. Paul, Missouri; his fiancé, Lorna Ihada of Lebanon, Missouri;  his brothers, James Duncan III and wife, Suzanne of Lake Ozark, Missouri and Michael Duncan and wife, Jenna, of Lake Ozark, Missouri;  and his sister, Julie Ribaudo and husband, Jon, of Lake Ozark, Missouri.  He is also survived by his grandfather, Lloyd Solomon, of Brumley, Missouri; nieces, Genevieve, Grace, Gabrielle, Olivia, and Lainie; and nephews, Gino, William, and Killian; along with several aunts, uncles and many friends.

Services will be held at 3:00 pm Friday, January 18, 2019 at Walk on the Water Faith Church, Osage Beach, Missouri.  The family will welcome friends for visitation from 12:00-3:00 pm at the church. Interment will be at Lake Memorial Gardens, Osage Beach, Missouri.
