Obituary of David D. Vipond

David D. Vipond, age 56, of Camdenton, Missouri passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri.

David was born July 7, 1962 in St. Louis, Missouri. He was the son of Lowell and Camille (Letner) Vipond.

On October 26, 1993 in Camdenton, Missouri, he was united in marriage to Esther Dalka. Together they shared over 25 years of marriage at the time of his death.

David owned and operated his own business as an auto mechanic for many years and he enjoyed tinkering with cars of all kinds. David worked in carpentry as well and was known as a “Jack of all trades.” He loved listening to music and spending time with his family.

David is survived by his wife Esther; his son Alexander Vipond of Camdenton, Missouri; his step-son Mathew Dalka of Fordland, Missouri; and step-daughter Tancy Dalka of Camdenton, Missouri. He is also survived by his father, Lowell Vipond of Festus, Missouri; his sisters Susana Sullins (Michael) and Pamela Vipond; and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother Camille Vipond; and step-mother Phyllis Vipond.

Services will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 2:30 p.m. at Hedges Scott Funeral Home, Camdenton, Missouri. The family will welcome friends for visitation from 1:00-2:30 p.m. prior to services at the funeral home.
