Obituary of Gloria Anna Curley

Gloria Anna Curley of Osage Beach Missouri passed away on Friday, January 4, 2019, after a long illness. Gloria was a licensed practical nurse before retiring. Her favorite pastimes were working in the flowers and talking about her grandchildren.  She loved to cook, her best (in our opinion) Coconut Cream pie, German Chocolate cake, and Goulash. 

Gloria was born January 20, 1946 in rural Thebes Illinois, the daughter of the late Martie and Anna (Bledsoe) Henderson. Gloria is survived by her husband, Franklin D. Curley, son Patrick Timothy Curley, step son Franklin Curley (Tami) of Camdenton, three step daughters Denise Smith, Sugar Grove, Ill. Sandra Koehler Sandwich, Il, Christina (Joe) Wherley, Ipava, Il. Numerous grandchildren Jacob, Julia and Joshua Curley, Dustin and Blane Curley, Steven, Douglas, Brianna and Hailie Koehler, Amanda Rome and Michele Zielinski, Justin, Daniel and Michael Wherley, Brandie Hickle, Kayla Cleland, Josh Coakley and. 21 Great Grandchildren. One sister Catherine Hoban of Tuckaho New York. Four brothers, Wallace (Michelle) Henderson of Venice Florida. Martie Wayne (Dawn) Henderson of Amboy Illinois. David (Ivy) Henderson of Olive Branch Il. and Steven Henderson of Olive Branch plus numerous nieces and nephews.

Gloria was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Alfred, Hollis and William (Bill), and one sister Charlotte Henderson.

Rites of cremation will be observed with a celebration of life at a later date. Remains will be interred at Mount Zion Cemetery in Rural Thebes Illinois.
