A note about Floyd:  “Floyd was one of the most stubborn, hard-headed men most of us will ever know. But if you took the time to know him, you would find those glimpses that he did truly care, as he and Katy took in many kids as their own.  He taught us to be strong, work hard and help each other. He also had that soft side; if he happened to sell our favorite goat, he would buy it back.  Or bringing home 2 beagles and have to go back to buy another because there were 3 kids.  He brought us candy bars or our favorite snacks, just to make us happy.  I know we are the people we are today because of the love and lessons we were shown there and I’m sure all of the kids that had the chance to stay there would say the same.’
