Obituary of Melissa Moore

Melissa Moore, age 47, of Camdenton, Missouri passed awayTuesday, February 12, 2019 at Lake Regional Health System, Osage Beach, Missouri.

Melissa was born November 21, 1971 in Jefferson City, Missouri. She was the daughter of Leon and Carol (Bowers) Moore.

Melissa was passionate about exploring nature and enjoyed hunting for arrowheads at surrounding creeks. She loved cooking for family and friends and spending as much time with them as possible. Loving on her grandchildren and enjoying moments with them, is what Melissa treasured most.

She is survived by her father Leon Moore; son Joe Moore of Eldon, Missouri; daughter Courtney Harker (Cody) of Camdenton, Missouri; brothers Shawn Moore of Camdenton, Missouri, Andrew Moore of Eldon, Missouri and Chopper Moore (Connie) of Camdenton, Missouri; sister Dee Heemier and Jeff of Kansas City, Missouri; her brother Daniel Heemeier and Susan of Osawatomie, Kansas;  and three grandchildren, Ryatt Moore, Brayden and Alayna.

Melissa was preceded in death by her mother Carol Moore and brother Tim Moore.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm, Wednesday, February 20, 2019 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Camdenton, Missouri.
