Obituary of Daniel "Dan" Ray Mills

Daniel "Dan" Ray Mills, age 52, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away peacefully Tuesday, February 19th, 2019 at his home, surrounded by loved ones.

Dan was born on September 17, 1966 in Topeka, Kansas. He was the son of Gary and Dee (Bisel) Mills.

Dan was an architect and engineer for the duration of his career for several companies, including his own, Architecture and Engineering Consultants. In his spare time, Dan enjoyed driving friends and family around the lake on his boat, spending time at the local winery with close friends, spending time with family, and studying his Christian faith.

Dan is survived by his wife, Michelle Mills of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his children, step-daughter Tess Neely of Overland Park, Kansas, daughter Lindsay Mills-Ross of Herrin, Illinois, and step-son Conner Mills of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his sister, Debbie Martin and husband, Doug and their children, of Glenwood, Iowa; and his mother, Dee Land and husband, Bill, of Bellevue, Nebraska, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary Mills, his step-father, Floyd Johnston, grandparents, Marvin and Lois Bisel, Al and Helen Lardie, and Sam Mills, and his aunt Pat Bisel.

Service with Military Honors will be held on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Mid-Missouri Congregation of God Church, Eldon, Missouri.
