Obituary of Shawn Michael Gehlert

Shawn Michael Gehlert, age 46, of Kaiser, Missouri, passed away Monday, February 25, 2019 in  Pensacola, Florida.

Shawn was born August 27, 1972 in Jefferson City, Missouri. He was the son of Michael Lane Gehlert and Diana Esther Vance.

Shawn worked in construction as a carpenter, and truly loved the building trade.  He enjoyed being around and talking to people, and traveling and listening to music.  Shawn was a giving person, always willing to lend a hand where needed.  His greatest joy in life was his kids and his family.

Shawn is survived by his sons Dustin Gehlert of Lake Ozark, Missouri, Jordan Gehlert of Kaiser, Missouri, and Taryn Gehlert of Lake Ozark, Missouri; his father Michael Gehlert of Liberty, Missouri; his mother Diana Thomas of Kaiser, Missouri; his brothers Shannon Gehlert of Cuba, Missouri and Shane Gehlert of Branson, Missouri; and sister Shanay Gehlert of Kaiser, Missouri; along with several other relatives and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held  at 11:00 am, Thursday, March 14, 2019 at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.

Memorials donations are suggested to the family.
