Obituary of Phyllis Ann Walsh

Phyllis Ann Walsh, age 88, of Camdenton, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 22, 2019 at Lakeside Meadows in Osage Beach, Missouri.

 

Phyllis was born December 19, 1930 in Chicago, Illinois.  She was the daughter of Harry and Helen Lemm.  

 

On October 27 1951, in Fox Lake  Illinois, she was united in marriage to Bill Walsh.    Bill and Phyllis shared  56 years of marriage together at the time of Bill's passing on April 7, 2007.

 

Phyllis enjoyed a long-spanning career as a loan officer in the banking industry.  She loved meeting people and working with her customers, both old and new, and making new friends throughout her career.   After retiring, Phyllis enjoyed spending her days boating on the gulf of Mexico,  working on crossword puzzles and crafting beautiful crochet or knitted pieces for her family and friends.   Phyllis adored her beloved dachshunds that she most often had rescued and cared for through the years.

 

Phyllis was a loving and devoted wife to her husband, Bill, and a wonderful, caring mother and grandmother to her children and their families. 

 

Phyllis is survived by her sons, Bill Walsh and wife, Megan, of McHenry, Illinois and Robert J. Walsh and wife, Janet, of Camdenton, Missouri; her daughter Kathy Palmer and husband, Brian, of Fox Lake, Illinois; nine grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.  She is also survived by her brother Harry Lemm of Palatine, Illinois.   

 

She was preceded in death by her parents Harry and Helen Lemm, and her husband, Bill Walsh.
