Obituary of Sharon "Kay" Spinti

Sharon “Kay” Spinti, age 61, of Lake Ozark, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Springfield, Missouri with her family and friends at her side.

Kay was born April 22, 1957 in Waynesville, Missouri.  She was the daughter of Lewis Clarence Clark and Georgia Annabelle Joiner.  She grew up and attended school in Richland, Missouri.

Kay worked over 17 years at the Osage Beach Wal-Mart Store prior to her retirement.  Servicing several departments; the bakery, photo lab, produce, cashier and retired as a sales associate from the sporting goods department.  Kay was known as a hard-working, motivated and dedicated employee.  During her time at Wal-Mart she met her husband Ronnie, whom also worked at the local store.  On May 21, 2007, they were united in marriage and shared just shy of 12 loving years together as husband and wife.

Kay’s greatest enjoyment in life was spending time with her daughters, grandkids, brothers and sisters.  Kay was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan, even dedicating one of her bedrooms to St. Louis Cardinal’s memorabilia.  She enjoyed shopping at the local thrift stores and adored her chihuahua Petey, who never left her side.  

Kay is survived by her loving husband Ronnie; her daughters Christy Miller-Hobbs of Ft. Myers, Florida, Amanda Rogers and husband, Casey, of Springfield, Missouri, and Angelia Miller-Gilbert and husband, Randolph, of McKinney, Texas. Her grandchildren, Austin Hunter, Ryan Hunter, Samantha Garrett, Miller Rogers and Finley Rogers.  She is also survived by her brothers Ellis Clark, Danny Clark and Tommy Clark; her sisters Doris Bahle, Donna Gammons and Margie Farmer.

Kay was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Donald Clark, and son-in-law Ivan Hobbs.

“Mother will be watching over us until we meet again, she will be forever in our hearts.”

Memorial services will be held from 6:00-8:00 pm, Wednesday, April 3, 2019, at Hedges-Scott Funeral Home in Osage Beach, Missouri.
